Hi Tribe! I remember when this group was stagnant at 8 members... and now it's almost 150! Amazing. Truly a testament to the power and wisdom of what our animal friends provide for us- they are the purest teachers, healers, guiders, lovers, companions, etc.....
Since we've grown as a tribe so much, I thought a brief introduction of ourselves would be helpful to bond as a tribe.
Moi? I'm Linda, an airy-fairy, peace-goddess, blue-haired Mama. I teach Theater Arts to high school students and it's the best job ever. I've been studying Abraham and The Law of Attraction type materials for three-ish years. I am deeply in love with my amazing husband/co-creator of 9 years. I've worked a lot with Tiger and Horse energy, and am in love with my two dogs and kittens. Phoenix (Pit Lab 3 yrs), Topaz (Pit Boxer 2 yrs), Luna (Fuzzy Siberian? not sure on breed, 4 months), Ziggy (Black cat, Roommate's little one, brother of Luna). I started this Tribe because I adore all animals and truly believe in the power of their Love.
Who's next?

Re: Group Intro/Chat
Thu, September 13, 2007 - 2:30 AMGreat idea Linda thank you xx
Hi all, im an old chook who loves all things in nature, and believe we can connect with all things if we wish.
Eagle, Hawk and Thunderbeings seem to have been around me most of my life. Eagle and Hawk i understand but the Thunderbeings are another matter, for they are not part of my culture so would love some assistance to understand their messages. Yes searched the net, but the deep truth of these ones is not on the net i feel.
Live in the rainforest of far north Queenland Australia and just the wild places upon the Earth.
Blessings and thanks xxxxxxxx -

Re: Group Intro/Chat
Fri, September 14, 2007 - 2:59 PMMany years ago I read a book that mentioned paying attention to all creatures who enter your life. There's usually some message behind it. And since then, I have been paying attention to who comes, say, within ten to twenty feet of me. Fox came to me in dreamscape, very up close and personal. Our eyes met, and that was pretty magical. About thirteen years ago, my husband and I chartered a trimaran off the Florida Keys in celebration of our first anniversary. On the morning of our anniversary, dolphins swam around our boat, gradually swimming further and further away. My husband was tempted to try and swim with them, and I think they would have welcomed him.
For many years, I worked as a prairie restoration volunteer. I also love to garden. I love the land. I have never been squeamish about insects or arachnids. I treat all with reverence.

Sat, September 15, 2007 - 1:26 AMI was raised in North Texas, and while I received a very liberal education, many people there are under the influence of modern right-wing religions and espouse that "man" is superior to animals because they have no consciousness or intelligence, which is a rationalization for things like drowning litters of kittens in a towsack.
Since I was very young, I could see through the veil of crap that people just accepted as fact and was amazed at how they allowed themselves to do it.

Sat, September 15, 2007 - 1:54 AMI Am a wisewoman healer reinventing myself in the PacificNorthwest of Turtle Island. Grew up in eastern Pennsylvania in pastoral wonder... lots of beautiful nice farms alto' I wasn't raised on one. Playing sometimes meant trying to jump on the back of a cow... lots of cows around, and horses. Wildlife was prolific... deer, hawks, birds birds birds, lots of turtles... plenty of skunk, opposum, and the usual rabbits and squirrel and rodent populations. Life was good, before "Development." I'm a bit of an Owl and have always liked my solitude... comfortable with myself, and I like to spend lots of time in the woods and along the streams and rivers. Have always communed with domestic and wild animals, and most of my life have had a cat companion... at present two. The most important animal connection for me right now is Wolf... the teacher.
Part of me is baffled by anyone who does not love and appreciate all animals and wildlife. Try as I might to not judge anyone or anything, I somehow just think there's something seriously wrong with them.

Mon, September 17, 2007 - 9:37 PMHi, I'm Windi. I'm an empath, and use it at work as well as at home with my cats. I have two - Harvey, male, part Siamese, 9 yrs; Sammie, female, long haired, 5 yrs. They both "told" me their names. Harvey did so while still in his mother's womb, about a week before he was born. Sammie, well, I found her in a tree after a rainstorm, and she told me her name while I was cradling her tiny, cold body against myself, carrying her the half a block to my trailer. Harvey occasionally sends important messages to me and my boyfriend in our dreams. Sammie likes to sit with me when I meditate. -

Sun, November 18, 2007 - 9:57 PMI've always loved cats but didn't have a good connection with one until I adopted Mr. Tam 6 years ago whilst my husband was away on yet another research trip. I was "his babe" so you can imagine the fireworks when husband returned! We didn't know his real name until Russ guessed it Rumpelstiltskin style... Tam refused to be a cooperating part of the family until we'd correctly guessed his name. Since then we've adopted four more including a mama and 2 babies who arrived as "fosters" and never left. We also have an older, loving, brain damaged, mutt called Nutmeg. My husband "picked" all their names- Lilly, MamaCat, Chet and Grover. A few months ago I discovered that the cats at the animal shelter where I worked would let me know what they needed so I took a workshop with a communicator whom I'd met through my work. Since then I've been able to improve my ability to speak telepathically with animals, mostly cats, dogs and humans, but I've learned the most from the rabbits I've known. I would love to help others by speaking to their companion animals.
