Is it possible to empathically connected to an animal I haven't met yet? I am get these strange heart chakra palpatations and feelings of being startled/scared, but I'm not sure if its a person I know or if it's an unknown animal that I'm feeling.
Brightest Blessings,

Re: Empathy with unknown animal
Mon, October 26, 2009 - 9:46 PMI just came across your posting from 2 years ago. I have had the same feeling a couple of months ago. I got heart palpatations and feelings of being startled/scared several times. I think it's my 2 dogs that I had to give away 14 months ago. One is an Australian Shepherd named Hobie and the other dog is an American Staffordshire Terrier named Roxy. Roxy is being abused, but I don't what to do because I don't own her anymore. I am still connected to these dogs, they were my life and they were helping me heal from a divorce. -

If you suspect abuse, is it not possible to call the local humane society/animal control authorities?

Re: Empathy with unknown animal
Tue, October 27, 2009 - 10:51 AMPetra, anything is possible. I have friends who can do that, with animals as well as people. Whether they have met them or not....
My empathic ability is not that developed yet, but i'm working it.
My African Grey is a tough egg to crack , as he has sensitive abilities himself....he's not sure what to do with the emotion sometimes.
My poor grey baby.
I would say go with the feeling, you never who you might be helping.
Many Blessings, Teresa -

it is your responsibility to do something. If it were me, nothing would stop me from taking the dog out of that situation. Having authorities intervene might land the dog in a shelter or pound. Go over there and reclaim her

Re: Empathy with unknown animal
Today, 8:47 AMAMEN!-- If you are aware of Roxy being abused- you can quietly call and they don't have to share your name. I really think you should. Animals feel emotions as people do- Not only is she feeling a sense of rejection and misses you but she is living in a state of Hell -- and you can do something about it.
